For the third year running, we will be opening our farm gates for free this Sunday 5th June, as part of the national initiative Open Farm Sunday.
Open Farm Sunday encourages members of the public to find out more about where their food is produced and the farmers that produce it. Every year, the day sees over 100,000 visitors attending 400+ farms across the country, with over one million people attending events since the scheme’s inception.
While it’s nothing new for us to welcome visitors to Forty Hall Farm, Open Farm Sunday is still a great opportunity for us to focus on telling our neighbours about the work that’s going on here.
This year, we’re showcasing the fantastic work of our vineyard. Volunteers from the vineyard will be giving tours of the vineyard, and there will even be an opportunity to sample some of our newly released Ortega and Bacchus wines.
Free entry 11am – 4pm. Wine tasting from 11.00am – 12.30pm, while stocks last (so get here early!)
