Handmade at the Farm

Sunday 13th July, 12pm – 5pm

As part of Forty Hall’s Handmade festival, we will be opening our farm gates for an afternoon of fruity handmade activities, as we explore the wonders of handmade jams, jellies and pickles.

Join us to learn some of the secrets of making your preserves and watch some demonstrations of how to make your own cordials and other fruitful delights.

If you’re feeling energetic, whizz up your own smoothies using our pedal-powered smoothie maker, using fresh fruit from Capel Manor.

And if you want to get your teeth into something a bit more meaty, we’ll be joined by the Jerky Shack who’ll be giving demonstrations on how to smoke meat, cheese, and other goodies. Smoked apple anyone?

As well as all this, the Farm will be open all day. Visit our Vineyard, see how our own fruit is coming along in the Forty Hall Farm Orchard, or enjoy a leisurely walk around the stockyard while feeding the animals.

Free entry all day, with suggested donations for smoothies!
