Saturday 22nd October 2011, 1 – 4pm
Would you like to grow your own fruit? Squeeze your own fruit juice? Make your own cider?
In the 1800s, there was an orchard on Forty Hall Farm, situated alongside Forty Hall’s walled garden. We think it‘s time we started growing fruit on the farm again.
We’re having an ‘Orchard Afternoon’ on Saturday 22nd October 2011 and would like to talk to anyone that is interested in getting involved in a new community orchard.
Drop in to find out how you and your family can get involved. There will be information about other community orchards, as well as an opportunity to tell us what else you’d like to see happening at Forty Hall. We‘ll also be apple bobbing, apple tasting and apple juicing!
Children and pets very welcome. Free entry.
