Final preparations underway for Apple Day 2013

The Farm is a hive of activity this week as we prepare for this year’s Apple Day 2013.

Come along to the Farm on Sunday 20th October to help us celebrate all things apple!

There’ll be apple tasting, apple bobbing, juicing demonstrations, as well as an opportunity to buy local apples and apple juice, and the award-winning local Glider Cider.

There will also be lots of rural craft demonstrations, including sheep shearing, wool spinning, wood-carving and willow weaving, as well as lots of local food stalls. Sample local cheeses from the Urban Cheesemaker and Wobbly Bottom Farm, organic ice cream from north London’s Ruby Violet, cakes and breads from several local bakers and bakeries, as well as a hog roast, and fresh organic produce from the all new Enfield Veg Company!

Not to mention charcoal making, Morris Dancers and arts activities for children of all ages. Come rain or shine, we’ll be celebrating this year’s bumper fruit harvest with gusto!

Entry: Adults and concessions £3.00; children £2.00; under 3 yrs free.
