We are very disappointed to have to take the decision earlier in the week to postpone our Moveable Feast, due to unforeseen circumstances and some technical problems with our ticket sales. We are busy rescheduling the event and will soon be announcing a new date in the spring. Thanks to everyone who had bought tickets and to the local producers who had pledged support for the event. We promise that the Feast when it does take place will be a really special event.
In the meantime, there are still opportunities to sample Forty Hall’s organic produce this Urban Food Fortnight. Down the road from us in south Enfield, the super-cool Building Bloqs cafe will be serving up our salad and veg as part of their INTER-SCAPE art and cinema afternoon, on Saturday 21st September. Building Bloqs is a new community workspace where craftspeople, designers, artists and tradespeople can come together. We are very happy to be providing them with food for their event. Check out their Facebook page for more information about the event.
If you fancy a weekend at home, cooking for yourself, remember that our produce is now on sale locally. You can find it in Budgens, on Lancaster Road, and at the lovely Village Wholefood Shop, which also stocks a wide range of home-brewing equipment. Perfect for making the most of all the sloes and damsons currently gracing our local hedges!
