BOOM! Sparkling wine scoops prestigious award

Wednesday 5th July 2017

The team here at Forty Hall Vineyard are celebrating after our 2014 Vintage London Sparkling Brut won Best Wine at the Soil Association’s Best of Organic Market (BOOM) awards last week.

The Vineyard is committed to producing sustainable, organic wines of exceptional quality from our London-grown grapes. The BOOM award is proof that the hard work of all the Vineyard staff and volunteers is paying off!

Sarah Vaughan-Roberts (Vineyard Manager, pictured far left) and Marissa Zoppellini (Chair, second left) collected the prestigious award at a ceremony at Borough Market, south London.

New short film captures Farm life

New short film captures Farm life

We’re delighted with this new short film, ‘Community Growers’, all about Forty Hall Farm and the projects we do here.

The seven-minute long documentary was made by film student Dan Bone, who spent several months filming on the Farm. As well as capturing staff, volunteers and students at work, the film includes footage of community events and short courses, and even follows some of our veg as it journeys to restaurants and cafes across Enfield.

Thanks go to all the staff and volunteers who appear in the film, and of course to Dan himself!
